Agree. While I get that an older 911 was used there is arguably more flair and imagination shown with this work than the now fashionable but overdone “I got lost one the way to the racetrack look ” that seem to appropriate various rennsport and or sports-purpose touches as an affectation then breathlessly get dubbed “a hot rod” or “an outlaw”. If a named designer or styling house had done it perhaps would be seen differently. Agree the heavy handed screen rather lets it down — it’s one for fairer climates. Lord knows what it drives like. Each to their own but to my thinking this styling attempt has more about it than many I’ve seen — it isn’t striving for original authenticity nor mercifully following a formulaic approach.

    Just my tuppence-worth.

    Bravo!

It proved the perfect 'early 911' for complete restoration!
Leaving out the fact that it needed a donor to be stitched back together is an oversight at best and intentionally deceptive at worst. I don't doubt that the work restored structural integrity, but a prospective buyer should know what had to be done to put the body in its current state.

I do wonder where they found the matching numbers engine.... sounds like it was long gone when it was on BAT...
