Bolts to attach seat to seat rail

I’ve found multiple posts addressing the correct bolts to attach the seat rails to the floor, including the use of split ring lock washers beneath each bolt. Apologies if I’ve missed this, but do the rails in turn attach to the bottom of the seat pan with similar bolts and lock washers? If it matters, I have a 1972 with the standard comfort seats.

    Thanks,
    Mike

Mike the 71 have diferent washer to the car and to the rail. You need no a normal DIN 912 M6x15 you need a low head DIN 6912 M6x15 8.8 (in yellow color) the washer to the car is a DIN 9012 M6 and the washer to the rail is a DIN 125. The Spare Parts Catalogue say the washer is a phr (black) washer but the 700 miles 1970 car have a normal plate washer and the spare parts say a the M6x15mm 6912 is a 12.9 and I never see a 12.9 I only see FKE 8.8. Send me a PM if you need the bolts.
