    It's a Tiny Demon, good luck with the investigation and please keep us posted. Wanna see pics of your car, love the dash. I'm finishing a 67 normal in 6606 Irish Green and have to make a decision on the dash. I have all the bits to go with the S look on the interior, including OEM S glove box NOS, instruments and an S engine w 2.7 heads, and 2.2l pistons.....

    Heat exchanger check is next on the list. Seems to be the consensus for what to try next.

    The 'whir' in your car doesn't seem overly harsh. Check out the gearbox on this car, quite loud..
