Rear deco trim (wide S-type) for LWB withOUT reflectors

    Hi there,

Did Porsche make rear deco trim (wide/large S-type) for a LWB that extended all the way to the bumperette so one could effectively "delete" the rear reflectors? If so, is there a PN or source for quality aftermarket components? I didn't see that type listed with Stoddard or Sierra Madre.

    Thanks!

I doubt they did. SWB cars has reflectors built into the tail lights. LWB car had the added on reflector on the bumper. Don’t know if reflector are mandatory for both SWB & LWB. 911 R had 356 reflectors.
It might be possible to put a SWB deco on a LWB bumper? SWB = long deco & bumper and LWB = short deco & bumper, cliff

No but the extrusion and rubber are essentially the same front and back. You could take a front bumper unit and in effect cut in half and you’d have two pieces long enough to do what you’re talking about. I’d suggest drilling an additional hole for
T bolt next to the bumper horns. Without looking at one of my bumpers, don’t remember if one of the reflector mount holes would work for that.
