    for the records, many description text at the museum describing the cars have faults, i recall there was one saying « Porsche 911S , S stands for Sport »

    I pointed it out to the guide saying that S stands for Super but neither he knew neither it was changed, saw it a year later still at the museum display.

    The Porsche Museum posted 6 new pictures of 9113300013 on its Instagram account, and I notice that this car doesn't have "black anti-gravel" under it...

    Was that an option? or was 0013 restored, and the layer wasn't put in order to make it look "nicer"? I always wondered why sometimes people don't put anti-gravel under the car once they restored it.

    Also '72 chrome front grilles. The shifter boot is '73, so a weird mismatch.

    This is Porsche doing omakase.

    It just goes to show you that these cars are such a great canvas you can make your own while sticking with factory parts.
