Rear trailing arm, what not to powder coat ?

    Hi Everyone,

I have had my 1971 rear trailing arms powdercoated. They however coated the mating surface with the brake carrier plate. I wonder if I can leave it as is or do I have to scrub of the powder coat.

Furthermore I read somewhere that there should be no paint at the 4 angles of the bearing carrying spot where the carrier plate is mounted as this might create issues and wrong alignement.

Any input would be great !

    Thanks,

    Phil
