    Question 67s windshield wiper color/s?

    Hello all,

I just purchased an all original 67s, and the wipers arms are black. I read somewhere that somewhere in 66-67 they issued them black... or were they always stainless? Is this correct?

Thank you, but no mention of color or possibility of coming from Stuttgart, black.

On a 67s never black, never stainless. Silver steel.

67S factory equipped had silver SWF arms, but some 67 MY factory race cars had already black ones during spring to summer holidays. Also some race drivers like Jo Siffert preferred the British TEX stainless steel wiper arms even during the 1968 season. For example the 1968 Rallye Monte Carlo winning car was equipped with SS TEX blades and arms during the race for Siffert, but for the price giving ceremony the mechanics switched back to the original black ones for press photo reasons.

67S wipers are parked on the passenger side.

On the right side. There are also countries with RHD where the passenger is at the left .
