    What nose cone?

    Hi all,

    It seems that for the early gearboxes, there are cones with (at least) 2 casting numbers:

    901.301.301.0R

    And:

    901.301.301.01

    Name: IMG_0797.jpeg Views: 231 Size: 137.5 KB

    I found one 901/0 gearbox (101616) with the .0R cone

    Does anyone know how the gearboxes started, with what casting number on the nose? And when it was changed?

    Is there some type of internal bolt or screw at that point in the case?
