SWB Tail Lights retrofit to LWB

Can one adapt SWB tail lights to work on a LWB? I am wrapping up my build and quite prefer the earlier lenses to the later ones. I am specifically looking at the reproductions Stoddard sells.

    Appreciate any guidance.

That is a solid no. The SWB tail light and turn signal assemblies are smaller and won’t fit into the pockets in the body with out stuffing with filler.

Perfect answer, Jim. Thank you. Saved me a small fortune from learning that myself.

The simple solution. Buy a SWB car. Probably not the solution your looking for. I'm sure your car will be very nice.
