    MFI Elevation Adjustments

I recently moved from an area at sea level to an area ~3k feet above sea level. I haven't driven my car here a whole lot yet, but the car seems to run great in the little driving I have done. My car was dialed in at sea level by a very reputable shop.
I know MFI has the barometric cell to adjust the mixture as altitude changes, but thought I would check in with this group for any thoughts on whether or not I should have any baseline adjustments made given my new location?

    This is what I've experienced...

I live at about 750', my closest family lives about 80 miles away at 6000'.

My original MFI pump was in need of a rebuild about 25 years ago, before which my car started running like crap on my visits...
After the 'Gus' pump rebuild it ran perfectly at 6000'

In 2003 I rebuilt the engine to 2.7 RS + spec, and Gus changed the space cam in the pump to match the new spec.
To this day the pump hasn't been touched and it still runs perfectly from the beach to over 6000'

I'm no expert but I'd say your 3000' change should pose no problem....

Chuck is right on. I bought a car in Portland, and drove to my home at 6,500' in Wyoming with no issues ever. I now have a different 2,4S and regularly dive it from home to 10,000'ish with no issues.

Hey Bill - I’ve made several trips back and forth from Tucson to Los Angeles with no issues. So as Chuck and Steve say above, you should be fine.
