    Any Opinions . . .

    . . . about this?

    https://www.ebay.com/itm/16715219324...Bk9SR6bryfv_ZA

Has a 'Porsche' label on it but has anyone had any experience with one of these?

Is this a new Porsche part?

Or something they purchase from another Maker and stick their label on?

    And howzit fit?

    I'd still rather have OG, but . . . .

    Alu engine lid

I've got this one, pity that one corner is missing some alu material.
I have also a alu license panel but fear it is a reproduction.

    Regards,
    Cees

    Hello, Cees

The engine cover looks fine. I'm not a Metal Guy but that corner looks totally repairable

It's more a matter of who has the expertise to add some material, then grind it to shape

But I'm afraid of what shipping to SoCal would be --- not-so-much for the weight but for the size

Yes, I’m no photographer; just enlarge and shoot with my iPhone. Not as bad as it looks. And the center panel has a loose weld on the weather strip holder on one end. Thumb pressure fix on the small impression.

Deck lid crack is from the strut side. No one has tampered with it.
