an odd locking screw for a recaro rail

    Hi Everybody,

I am restoring a 1973 double locker recaro sport seat set. Its the set with the heavy tilting frames. The recaro rails are mounted onto the tilting frame as opposed to the earlier version. The rail is fixed to the frame with several screws. Each rail has one different screw compared to the other screws. It has a rather tall head. When the rail is mounted with this screw the rail cannot disloge from its slider. Does anybody know where I can order such screws? Somehow I cannot find this one in de steel shop in The Netherlands.

Your help is appreciated! Greetings Adriaan

Many people have asked me for this part. I think this is a job for JimmyT on this board to make new ones. Sport Seat only part.

    Hi All,

Your responses are greatly appreciated. Clyde might be able to help me out. And dirk07 is right its the DIN 927 zapfenschraube. Several versions are available (only when you buy 100 of them) but I did not find the right dimensions (length) yet.

    The search continues

    Greetings
