    WTB: Golde Sunroof Tool

I dont know if the 911 came with this tool if the Golde sunroof was installed, but it did on the 356. Its a 90 degree tool with a flathead screw driver on one end and a unique proprietary keyed rod on the other end. Stamped GOLDE. Im on the hunt for an OEM tool which is somewhat different than aftermarket examples. Thanks, Lew

Here is a picture on the 356 Registry site, not my picture. It appears to be aftermarket since the OEM tool is flared at the flatblade screw driver end much as any standard flatblade screw driver would be. https://forum.porsche356registry.org...E+Sunroof+Tool

Maybe copy the image over here. I'm not a member on 356 so it doesn't show the image.

@ajwans, I was unable to post a picture so just put up the link. Didnt occur to me that it required a membership to view it. Thank you for posting a photo. That photo BTW is of a typical repro tool where the screwdriver end is not flared as it would have been on the OEM tool. Im told a side by side comparison of repro to OEM shows slight differences in the important proprietary other end. Have no idea if it affects function.
