About 1/3 of the car is now color sanded and polished.

Ahhhh the sixties... I envision myself one early Saturday morning wearing plaid shorts, black shoes with white socks smoking a cigarette heading to the hardware store to buy a bag of nails.
SWB cars are an acquired taste however once acquired theirs no turning back.
My roadster that i built back in 1999 has tight gaps.
It makes the body work look better. More pleasing to my eye anyway.
I have to wait for the engine/trans to be installed, and the car put on its wheels for the final...

Yes...
Mainly due to the unorthadox painting proceedures I had to deploy... due mainly to health/exposure.
The car parts were on and off the car more than anyone can possibly imagine.
And now..... The car is complete and will not need to be taken apart again.

. Passenger side is "cleaned-up"
driver side is as it squished out.... yet to be cleaned
