    As an aside my heat lever knob is red. Per the pic I think my lever is longer too.

    I notice that 308325S (Bermuda car) that crossed your path recently had a leather gear lever boot, don't suppose you can remember (or have a photo) what the handbrake boot was?

    Hi Tim correct on both counts! The Bermuda car did indeed have a leather gear lever boot. It was also supplied with leather seats and I wondered if there might be a connection between the two, but think probably not. I don't have a pic of the handbrake boot, sadly. To state the obvious, it wasn't an AFN/UK car. I believe the first RHD 1967S - 305328S - also had a leather gear lever boot

    Thanks Robert, I think with evidence from five UK/RoW cars, 67S cars having leather boots might have been more common than initially thought; would welcome any further examples of known 'original' 67MY cars anyone else can add.
