Restored Recaro 4 Legged Rallye Seat and a Sport Seat with Pepita

    Hi Everybody,

This lovely set just arrived from the upholsterer. Both seats are original Recaro seats ideal for any early 911 or 912. Both seats are upholstered by Michael Schwappacher in Germany. He is very knowledgeable and uses the best material identical to the original fabric. The bolsters are made of perforated black vinyl and the seating is made of Pepita a specific pattern frequently used in the early Porsches. I love the looks of it.

The Rallye seat is a rare 4 legged version (also called elephant feet bucket). The shell is firm and undamaged. The foam is original and still gives good support. The perforated vinyl and pepita is attached to the bucket in the exact way it was done when new. De rails are new but very good reproductions. The recaro knobs are original. The D shaped headrest still has its original vinyl.

The Sport seat (in this setup the passenger seat) is a 1968 model. The frame is straight and firm. Recliner works well. Rails are original so are the recaro knobs. The seat is also upholstered by Michael.
The D shaped headrest is ok but upholstered by an amature (myself) with vinyl.

This set is ready to mount in your SWB and LWB car. The seats are also for sale separately. Anybody who has the D headrests allready becomes a big discount. I am short of D shaped headrests. The peanut style headrest I have plenty available.

Price of the set is 9500 usd. This includes FedEx world wide shipment. Shipment is reliable and takes approx 5-7 days. The seats are over 25 years old so no extra trump tax is expected for now.

Every body have a great day and enjoy spring!

    Greetings Adriaan
