FS: '74 RSR Oil Tank Assembly

    Hello fellow members

Since I couldn't find a complete plug & play assembly that met my demands with respect to quality and originality I have decided to put this together and offer it to like-minded enthusiasts to spare you the trouble of spending that much time in getting together all the parts needed for this.

Some of the components I re-engineered and manufactured myself (I'm holding a Masters in Mech. Engineering). I am currently building an IROC and want it to be as accurate as possible, following the footsteps of some other enthusiasts in this forum that wouldn't accept anything else.
As so often in order to amortize at least a small part of my own effort - time invested not considered since my passion usually manages to overrule frustration- I have produced a small batch of these assemblies.

Some features of this assembly that you might be interested in:

+ Authentic reproduction of the 74 RSR oil tank with increased volume
+ Authentic reproduction of the oil pressure relief valve with correct specs and internals
+ Original RSR regulator housing with mounted correct thermostat
+ Re-engineered Argus fittings and pipes with maximum attention to detail
+ Pre-fitted and mounted oil tubes in the correct lenghts for use with RSR/ 2.7RS hard oil lines
+ All tubes are lighter and higher rated than the original Cohline tubes. The woven textile looks super authentic and cotton-like but is
made of high tech materials such as Kevlar and Nomex. The steel braided tubing is stainless rather than zinc coated due to
    a) durability b) flexibility and fitment and c) temp/ pressure rating and weight. However I can also supply the fittings only so you can
use your own choice of tubing
+ All pre-mounted oil lines are pressure tested at 20 bar (290 psi)

And last but not least probably the most important added value:
+ Complete plug & play assembly with hard to get and non obtainable parts. The assembly consist of non less than 80 individual parts!!

    Availability is limited.

The assembly is offered as shown in the pictures, containing everything including the level sender, all fasteners etc.

Asking 8'900 Euro plus shipping plus Paypal fees

Other configurations are possible (e.g. full stainless steel lines).

Feel free to leave your feedback or contact me when having further questions.

    Thanks and best regards

    Sven

PS: I have attached 2 additional fotos showing the weight of a standard 2.7RS hose/ fitting and the RSR composition as offered
