    Because the lifetime of metal work skill needed is not in the cards, even at 50, I have time, but not that kind of time. I've done a tremendous amount of work on the car myself, but the 550 is one of the most challenging bodies to make, few people can pull it off. Ask someone you think who is good with aluminum if they could do a 550, they would probably tell you no. It's also the reason you see so few 550's, it wasn't easy or quick in 1954 and it isn't now. Now the 904 build, every inch of that car was done by these hands, so it's not lack of will, it's recognizing what Clint Eastwood taught us in all those movies, "A man has got to know his limitations."
