    66S Engine Shroud

Please let me know, ESR folks.
The shroud on the right is from a '67 model, and the shroud on the left is from a '72 model.
The injector sockets were already molded into a thin shape in '66.
What is the material? ABS resin?
Were the injector sockets molded into the '65 shroud?
According to Professor Paul's book, the first test run with fuel injection was done on a Carrera 6 in March '66.
MFI wasn't available commercially until two years later, for the '69 model.
What kind of problems did they have?
    Thanks in advance.

The one on the left is circa 70-72S. The one on the right is from USA 78 SC forward. 65-68 model year didn’t have injector moldings.

Thank you for your valuable opinion, following on from Andial the other day. It was a misunderstanding on my part.
    Now I know the truth.
I will try to find the original shroud for the 67S.

I have an original 67S shroud with some damage to the area around the fan shroud. PM me if you are interested/want pics. Thanks, mark
