Congrats as well! I had a 74 for a number of years. Rebuilt the engine myself; still remember the joy the first time I started it after the rebuild and saw healthy oil pressure. Drove it all over, only let me down one time. I had installed a Pertronix ignition and the zip tie holding the wires to the hall sensor cracked, allowing one of the wires to jump up and catch the rotor. Fortunately had a spare rotor in the glovebox. Always wanted one (or a TR5) with the Lucas injection. Converted mine to SUs which did make it a little more drivable. A rear tube shock conversion and better springs helped a lot also.

Sold it in 2005 to pay for my 964; in retrospect a smart move financially, but do still regret it a bit. TR6 is really a max grins per dollar car.

Richard Good (goodparts.com). His car is very fast and handles like it's on rails. You can hear the redline is "somewhat beyond" what the factory offered.

Under the radar marques, can bring scattershot rural ads in country settings. Some are too far gone, but prices make them attractive.. with some luck and a dry climate, it could work. Colorado and Calif..
