    123 Ignition for 2.2S

How many of you are using 123 Ignition instead of mechanical distributor? I know it's super popular with 912 crowd but curious how many others are using 123 Ignition on their 6 cylinders? Feels like not many at all. Here's what I bought. https://123ignition.com/product/tuneplus-6-r-v-por911-small/

I seem to have finally found a tune that works with my PMO carbs. Specs are PMO 40 with 130 main jets, 200 airs, .60 idle jets, F16 emulsion tubes for my hot cams.

The biggest benefits of my 123ignition are disabling my car with my phone when I park and monkeying around with advance curve to improve performance.

I'm at 200HP at 7300 RPM with Mahle 2.2S Ps and Cs.

If you have a better curve, let's see it.

    Hi James,

I have a 123 in my stock 67 2.0 coupe. I requested it given the positive experience I've had with one in my 74 914 2.0. Completely different motors but the 123 is great in both.

The 123 seems much more popular in the 914 world but not so much over here. Not sure why given the advantages you note - they're amazing units and product support is great. I had some questions when I installed it in the 914 and talked with Ed twice in one day - and he answers emails quickly as well.

Here's the curve that I'm running right now - as set by Chris at Scott's Independent. I'm not unhappy with it but may start playing with it just to see what's what.
