    There were variations in the design of these plates over the years with different shape main surface and the support plate becoming a T presumably work better as 911 930 engines evolved.
    Known also as 9111 9111/2 9111/3 with these part numbers

    Also seen some repros and even some home made.

    One of mine is a well used example that came from workshop of a late much missed friend who started his eponymous independent Porsche specialist business in 1974. If tools could talk … id think a high proportion of air-cooled 911 motors in UK will have at one time or another sat upon that one

    Anyone care to share the dimensions for this tool? Looks like it wouldn't be too hard to make ... or maybe someone knows of an aftermarket one?

    I was thinking the same about measurements. I've been wondering what was the predecessor of the 9111. Seems like I saw this ad a week too late.
