    5.5X15 Wheel question

    Just a quick question- new to the registry. I have a set of 5.5X15 Fuchs (901.361.012.04 1968) that I took off of my 54 356. They're in great condition. Would they be good set for a 69 E Targa project that I am building? Or should I look for 6 in? I've read that the 69S had 6in. New to longhood ownership. Have a 69E Leaf Green and a 69E Targa Metallic Blue.

    The 5.5x14 was optional for comfort purposes and standard on 912 and 911E for a couple of years so, a 5.5x15 wouldn’t be weird on a ‘69 E IMO.

    76 only
    All 912 had the option to upgrade for Fuchs starting 67, but they were 4.5x15, then 5.5x15 in 68 only, and 6x15 in 69 if I remember correctly..
    So to answer the first poster, 5.5x15 would work, you can fit 185s on these without problems and they will look great
