Tach Testing in L.A. - Other than North Hollywood...

    Greetings,
I have a tach for a 67 911 that i'd like to quickly confirm its operational status before listing for sale. Anyone have an Ashlock Tach Tester or a suggestion where I can just run in and see what's what?

Always seems like North Hollywood is so busy that I'd need to drop it off - which isn't ideal.

    Thanks!

Thanks Alan - trying to stay local/drive-to in the L.A. area.
Love Hartmut at PA - he's done work on my 914 gauges - top notch.

Brian, you mention an Ashlock tester; why not contact Bob Ashlock directly? He is in Orange, CA.

Good point but I figure that Bob sells the tester as opposed to offering testing services! I am fortunate to live in a Porsche-rich area and figured someone close by might be the easy button. This is rooted firmly in my laziness! I've connected with Joe's and will stop by early next week. He was very receptive.

Just to tie this up - thanks to @Chuck Miller for the referral to Joe's Speedometer. Joe is a great, knowledgeable guy and was happy to do a quick test to confirm that the tach is in good working order. I'll list it for sale in its own thread.

    Thanks Chuck!

I suspect Chuck's kindness and assistance over the years will continue to help Porsche guys for a long time.
