About 900 miles to the quart. Fortunately, no one was following closely.

Canadians from BC came to power cruise the California desert stalking 911s in a Riviera. Solid crew. Fast style.

The Friday drive to Borrego Springs was great. Hwy 62 to 177 was epic high speed desert emptiness. Box Canyon Road to Borrego Salton Sea Way was tight corners following the riverbed, then turn to the west and its all fast sweepers again.
The Saturday drive on Hwy 78 to Great Southern Overland Stage Route to County Route S2 - Also empty fast. After lunch, Sunrise Highway (amazing ridge top route) to Hwy 79, 78 and 76. Fantastic day! Not much traffic, long fast sweepers with good sight lines. What more could you ask for? 100 more HP maybe?
