Thread: RIP Chuck Miller

  1. #21
Terrible, and very sad news. I've known Chuck for as long as I've been driving my 911 -- I guess about 25 years. A wonderful guy -- always optimistic -- a little bit terrifying to follow on a canyon run.

    RIP

I've been an intermittent member of the registry and just recently, with Chuck's help, got reinstated. When I saw the headline on the webpage, I was certain it wasn't "The Chuck Miller". I just sent him an email last night as he was responsible for featuring my Viper Green 911 ST backdate on the inaugural digital issue of "Esses". RIP my new friend. steve meltzer

Having grown up down the road in Tarzana, there were so many relatable moments he shared here.

    Thanks Chuck.

Wow, I can't believe he's gone. He was always such a friendly, caring, kind guy always wanting to help. And a way better driver than me! This feels like the end of an era, the passing of a true legend. Rest in Peace, Chuck! Thank you for all your hard work for the Registry over the years, and all the good times.

GREAT competitor and very fast!!! Over the past 35+ years, Chuck and I had a bunch of Extremely High Speed duals... In our Matching Blue 73 911Ses, (Mine a Targa).

He died doing what he LOVED... How many of us will get that option?

Only the Memories for some of us ancient Porsche owners.

    RIP Chuck

Saying that about Chuck is an honor. Actually there aren't enough 'honors' for a guy like Chuck but he wouldn't have wanted too many as I remember him. Yes, a super nice guy to everyone. You can't say that about many. And he spilt the line having a 911 hot rod and a Chevy Malibu hot rod.

I'm very sorry to hear this.
