Very saddened to hear the news. Was there ever a Porsche event in California that Chuck was not at??? It will never be the same out there. Many fond memories of drives on the road and track. One of my favorite pics is Chuck breathing down my tailpipe and setting me up for a pass! RIP.

This is at the old Iron Bottom Rally (2007/08?). We were being held up by a highway maintenance crew but finally were clear to pass. Chuck was in front of me but somehow didn't see the fresh wet paint! He quickly wiped the splatters off his beautiful blue S but I was staring at his yellow left side tires in front of me the rest of the drive ....

Even though I only knew Chuck through the forum and emails about articles in ESSES, I could tell he was a great person and hoped to meet him some day so he will be dearly missed. My condolences to his family and friends.

Stunning news to wake up to. As we all know, Chuck was one of those most responsible for building an exceptional community of Porsche owners. A solid man and he will be missed.

God bless you Chuck, Rest in peace.

RIP Chuck, and condolences to his family and friends. Pillar of the early 911 community, a good man, and a hell of a driver.
