Saw this Gold thread and had to chime in!
I'm personally finding the '70's Gold has to be one of the most interesting Retro cool colors ever. I have been restoring my '73 Targa (Ground Up) for just over a year and am fascinated by the personality that it has. It appears different to me each day. Never been so excited about restoring the perfect 'Anti Porsche'. Gold-Sportomatic-Targa :-)

Not sure how I missed this post.....I saw a beautiful gold metallic 3 years ago on display on Sunday after the Hilton swap and west coast 3 day events .
I looked for 3 years to find one originally in that color, finally found a 71 T sunroof needing much attention and pulled the trigger.
I love the color as with most unusual Porsche colors. I pairs well with my 73.5 Aubugene.
Also complimented my now sold Lago Green Metallic 56 356.
