    WTB: 1966 smugglers box cover

Hello everyone, looking for a 1966 smuggler to finish selling rounding up a few parts for my 912 that I've been working on for 11 years.
If anybody has one for sale that's in great shape. I would appreciate a call or a private message
You can text me at 562-388-3737. Thank you

    Aux Heater Lid

Here is what I have. The Seal is in good shape, and will clean up real good. I just did another lid with the same seal for my '65 911. There is a small "Oil Can" dent on the right side part of the lid in the first picture. I think it will pop back easlily once it is stripped to metal. It's not very noticable. I have another crusty one, that is an early '65 with the Heat Insulation Pad for the Gas Heater.

Dan - I won’t jump in front of Doug on any of these smuggler’s box lids offerings but would you mind posting a couple photos of your “crusty” lid with the insulation fabric? Thanks!

Here is the Crusty one....This one is a '65 without the "Bump". There is 2 of the round retainer pieces for the heating insulation. Needs work, but an original early lid. There is surface rust, but no pitting.
