I'm pretty sure you will need brackets. It seems the early recaro-style adapters work with many aftermarket seats..... or you could custom fab them.

If you are not height-challenged, the Corbeau brackets will work fine. For me @ 6'3"+, with a helmet on, in a sunroof car, I was forced to custom fabricate a bracket for the driver's side. It was about $15 more to have one custom made than for the Corbeau bracket.

Just instlld a driver's side Corb GT A lo back...Tom is correct and he helped me on my install...I am 6 ft. and Corbeau brckt put me too hi....had a shop mod brckt for 80 bucks so it might be cheaper to fab one yourself...another on board has the same seat as the one you showed...let us know your dimensions as I think that seat is on the small side?..plus I am curious how you fit in it; my GT A just fits....thnx
I'm of about 5 ft 8 inches height. I think I'll be OK on the height. my waste is 32 so seat should not be too snug.... sounds like the original bracket might fit just perfect.

yup you should be perfect w/ Corbeau bracket..I think the other owner also was a compact(he he) gentleman.......show pics when you can, as I hope to soon.....
I had to get them in soon becasue they were getting plenty of use in the house.
installation was only a minor PITA. seats are much lighter even w/ the bracket. the only glitch is that the holes on the bracket are much larger than the heads of the original bolts. so a quick trip to osh resulted in washers to fix the problem. next item to tackle is seat belts. I'm not going to use the original belts as they were some what cumbersome.
now I need to get back to mehcanicals. the 3.0 needs to have some wiring sorted.
I've got no speedo, no oil temp or oil pressure readings. also need to clean the carbs, replace the fuel lines, adjust the clutch, install the msd tach device... and I think I want a front sway bar! but my budget on this one is expired. the work has slowed until I can raise more funds and find more free time.
