Thread: Kermit is ready to come home -- Need Help

    Alive and Well In PA

    Guys:

    KERMIT IS FANTASTIC

I have stolen a few minutes at a B&B from last night to send you guys a quick note. The car runs very well. MFI needs a bit of dialing in. The car runs well, and sits and rides very very comfortably.

Judy is very happy sitting in the newly upholstered Houndstooth sport seats. And I am wearing my Houndstooth cap - yes Michael. Yours will be on the way soon.

I'll send you complete notes when I return. I am off to the tail of the dragon.

    regards

    Larry,

Can't wait to hear how the trip went (esp the Dragon). I think the thread needs to read: Kermit tames the Dragon! (Other suggestions). It also better have lots of photo illustration.

I'm very excited for you. I hope your first drive home has NOTHING in common with mine. BTW - after completing your Italian Tune Up on the Dragon, go in for a simple valve timing adjustment when you do your next oil change. It's only about 2 hrs of labor for a knowledgeable wrench. He'll be able to tell you how worn the valves are as well.

Have a great trip! Best thoughts are with you!

That Larry is livin a charmed life. Now which one of us is willing to step up when he gets home and lend him their engine and tranny while he gets his top end rebuilt and his tranny overhauled....

This is good news! Larry, I'm giving a shameless plug here. This guy specializes in German car electricals. Charges a bit more than general rebuild shops, but does the job well! When you ship your alternator, include your voltage regulator as well. Loren will check it out, and adjust it for proper voltage output...
