Wasn't someone producing crest stickers intended to replace hood crests? I've done a search and come up empy handed.
Thanks,
-Scott

John Colasante over on the Pelican BB sells a very nice decal. I have one and vouch for it's high quality.

consdering the resale value of an early 'orange' hood emblem, it makes sense to replace it until the car is on the block (no time soon).

Exactly my thinking, too. I just bought a crest sticker from John C and it looks pretty good. It's also lighter and has better aerodynamics than the factory emblem.Originally Posted by RickS

Scott - how is that project coming? Are you at an advanced stage, or just dreaming/futurizing?
And are you putting on a FG or CF hood?
.... I hope the last post re aero effects was a joke....
Randy, are you familiar with the various smileys in use on these forums?Originally Posted by RandyWebb

Randy-
I'm actually moving forward! I shipped the heads of for S ports, and the throttle bodies are at Eurometrix for the same reason. The hood will be steel, but with the new hood sticker I'm sure the weight and aero advantage will more than compensate.
