Sure we all love the Gulf/Martini look, but I was really taken with this car at Rennsport wearing the Lufthansa Airline colors.
Does anyone have pics of a 911 dressed in this livery? I don't recall ever seeing one.

Shawn, that car is one of my favorites too. Matter of fact that's me in the reflective foul weather gear looking at the Lister next door.Originally Posted by Shawn
That was at the Watkins Glen Vintage races a couple years ago. I kept hanging around that area hoping someone would show up who knew the history of the car, but alas it sat there all weekend and never ran as far as I know. It is a great original condition car. Curt E. took the photo btw.
Tom... actually, I'm thinkin' you should order me up some dinoc!

Jim, aren't those Listers something to look at? I swear, they must be fueled with testosterone!

Paul they are beautiful cars. The Lister Jags are "pumped up", but the Corvette powered versions are downright scary fast and muscular.
There was at least one Lufthansa clad 911 that raced in the late sixties.
I can't find any pictures, but here's a race record.

Hmmm, I'll have to look on my other computer for a Lufthansa 911. Exoto is making a 1:18 910 with Lufthansa livery:
