I'm thinking about driving up the coast on Friday, staying some "cheap" that's near-by (Paso Robles?), seeing the cars on Saturday, then making the tour back.
If I can add Big Sur into the mix, I'll do that too.
Of course, I'll be in my other "furen" car for the trip, but would love to be surrounded by flat 4s and 6s.
Any suggestions for stops along the way? Historic sites, that sort of thing?
There are many, we are stopping at Hearst Castle on Sunday after the swap meet.Originally Posted by das908kind

I think I might try to see the castle on Sunday. Any reccomendations on golf in the Cambria/Morro Bay area? I'd like to get in 18 at some point as well.
I don't golf so I can't help you there.
If anyone comes out please say "Hi" I'll be the one with a black 911. My father and brother in laws both have a blue 356's.

Great shots, thanks. That orange Carrera Speedster was bad-*ss. I'm old fashion and need to get my images to the "lab" first. Oh, and very cool car. Next time I see you I'll have to ask you about the sport-o-matic driving experience (do you left foot brake in it? )
I have but I am not to smooth yet, also it's a 4 speed and geared pretty low so I use a lot of engine braking before the corners. That orange carrera speedster is a neat car not sure if you noticed but it has a B front end.do you left foot brake in it?
Sorry I missed you.
