Happy New Year to all. January 28th and 29th will be the first drivers school and first short track series event for 2006. I'll be running my new Hannukah gift -- a 914 with a Euro 3.2 in it. Hope to see you all out there.

Hey Sandy someday we will all meet at the track!
Those are pretty Chuck!
It is that time to consider 2006 tire management and new rubber.
I'm ready with a new set of 710s too.
First time on them for me, I have heard so many good things about them I can't wait to get them on the track!!!
My rears are 335/35/17 (13.9 wide/26 tall) and the fronts are 275/40/17.
I think I'll need to re-contour my fenders to fit the smaller rear tires.
Hey Sandy not to hijack but hopefully to lure you guys to try out a PCA TT I'll re-post some info here, hope you dont mind...
Fyi RSupdate and myself will be at Big Willow on the 21-22 for the PCA TT.
In fact I think we will both be testing at the track on the Friday the 20th as well.
Amazing with a little tuning these 911s really can handle.
Here is the PCA TT schedule.
Jan 21-22 Sat/Sun - Willow Springs - Big Track
Mar 22-26 Fri-Sun - California Speedway - Zone 8 Speed Festival
Apr 22-23 Sat/Sun - Streets of Willow
Jun 3-4 Button Willow
Sept 30- Oct 1 Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch
If Streets is your favorite track you should come on out to the April PCA Streets event.
Be prepared PCA always runs the bowl and schedules 6 30 minutes sessions on Saturday and 5 on Sunday.
Here is a link to the PCA TT site.

I'm going to try to make the April PCA TT date at Streets if I can clear the weekend time with the fam'. That would give me 5 full days at Streets by end of April. Soo-weet! Then it's time to take my first POC TT school at Big Willow. Oh yeah!

Sandy,
Sounds like you got the 'fever' buddy ...
There's very little cure to this addiction ... although faster bits, new race tires, and beating your last best time seems to help ...

Chuck, do you drive those tires to the track ?
Been asking myself the same question Werks (Mr. Werks?)
I've always driven my DOT's to the track and back, but I just might reconsider for these new 710's ...
Have a couple of friends trailering up that might have some room them in their truck...
