    Horn Button

Thanks Semjon - I search Ebay regularly but apparently not as well as people on this BB.

    No problem, you're welcome.
    I came across it today.

    Good luck with it!

Yep. I'd do a real thorough search on Pelican. He does not have a good rep.

GW frequents the 912 board a lot, and doesn't appear to be getting flamed over there. Maybe he's trying to improve. Anyway, I think you can get his phone # over there. Sometimes it helps to establish a clearer deal.

    Comments on Backside

Here's the back of the Ebay horn button - any comments on originality, etc?

    Thanks,
    Bob

    horn button

It is original looking to me. If you take off the one on your car or a friends look at the back and compare them and it should be the same.

They simply rotate counter clockwise to remove. Sometimes with a little downwards force that will make the horn engage. Opposite for installation.

Hope it helps, I've seen lots of them.

I have one of the "early" type (see thread referenced above). Instead of the late style rubber "spring," it has a steel spring that sits in a plastic cup. So, I don't know if the one in the picture is right or not.
