" .... before they become too expensive .... "
I thought they already were! Very nice. I'd love to have one in my meager collection one day .....
Well, they are becoming too expensive. This is all personal opinion, but I can not justify the expense of some of my hobbies. I look around the house and find some expensive things I thought I needed at the time and now don't use any more. Do any of you grow tired of "things"? Billiard table? Wine collection and cellar? Ping-Pong table? Vintage guitars? Muscle cars? Slot cars? Toy trains? Original art? Signed literature? Etc.
Some of these my son will have, he's three now, some are a complete waste.
I have not grown tired of Porsches yet, have any of you? Do you get away from it and come back?
Some I could write off as "investment", but honestly, I just wanted them.
I would like to know if you get tried of "things".

I know exactly what you're saying. I look around sometimes and think 'why do I own that again?' That's when its time to sell. Never happened with the Porsches though. I think a lot longer and harder and more objectively as I get older when purchasing my 'toys'.
There are so many "things" that I could agree with you on but Porsches and wine just don't fall into "things".
Congratulations on a very nice find, you can open a nice bottle and toast yourself.
I got off topic. Sorry everyone. We are packing up to move to NC. Just finished our new home, so we'll turn the page, leaving S FL behind. Packing all this up brings back lots of memories. Its my hope I don't grow weary of Porsches and the pursuit.
