Seat belts with diagonal shoulder strap, and inertia reels for SWB cars. These fit and work well, and offer a reasonable alternative to the hard to find, and some say, unsafe originals. Manufactured in '01. $250.

Hi
I am looking for some belts for my 71T.Where do the "hooks" on these belts fit? I am looking for belts that are attached to the sides of the seat rails like I belive the originals where. The short piece of your belts maybe look to be a bit long to be attached to the inside of the seat, and the buckle will be to long to be in the middle of the lap?

Tom...
Have you installed these in a SWB that does not have the bolt hole on upright post...
Thanks,
John

As best I recall, the hooks are anchored to eyebolts located in front of the rear seats. The position is very low and not very effective in paasenger restraint.

Cleaned out the box. It's a SWB thing, you need the belts that attach to the seats.Originally Posted by Zithlord

John, These were in my '67 with the inertia reels bolted in the factory holes under the rear quarter windows.Originally Posted by johnhora

Looking at the PET (https://techinfo.porsche.com/techinf...1_KATALOG.pdf), it looks like three pointers showed up in '68 as a factory optionOriginally Posted by johnhora

My 68 came with 3 point belts from the factory, they are attached to the bolts under the quarter windows
