Well, I have owned this car for the last 15 years and sadly it may be time to let it go. I have other fantastic Porsches and this one does not get used to it's potential. I am putting money into my house and priorities are changing...everyone told me this would happen some day.
The car is a 1970 911E coupe. I have every reciept on this car since day one! Two large 3-ring binders full!!! I will try to give a detailed list of everything that has been done to the car...but the bottom line is that EVERYTHING has been done!
Very nice '73 RSR bodywork...GT Racing.
Custom satin black paint
Shaved rain gutters
Solid body, no rust
RUF side mirrors
Factory 9x15 fuchs on the front and very nicely widened 11x15 fuchs for the rear.
Brand new Hoosier DOT race slicks
Large four piston racing calipers
Full Carrera suspension with 22/28mm hollow torsion bars
3.2 fully rebuilt motor with 40mm weber carbs...these are the most perfect sounding set of webers you will ever hear...fully rebuilt and professionally rebushed throttle shafts.
SSI's
Sport muffler....hand built for a more correct look
Front mounted oil cooler with braided lines and factory side lines
Sachs sport clutch
915 trans with LSD (factory)
Leather Recaro SPG's
Sparco 5 point racing harnesses
Roll cage
New head liner
RS steering wheel
RS style door panels
Nicely done, correct looking interior
All glass and trim in great condition
Cibie hood mounted rally lights
H4's
Large capacity fuel tank
Aluminum front strut brace
Too much more to list. There are cars out there that have the "look" and others that fall short... This car definately has the "look"! The stance is perfect, just the right amount of rare parts to make people say...well...is it real? The 3.2 really screams and pushes this light car very well. There are plobably less than 2000 miles on the rebuilt. I don't even think it leaks any oil! The tranny is perfect. Everything works as it should unless it was removed to save weight.
This car is not a trailer queen. It was built to be driven and that is primarily why it needs a new owner.
