    tire pressure

Hello, easy question. I have 205/60 15's V rated on my '71 "E". What tire pressure is recommended for fronts/rears? Thanks in advance for your simple answer.

Since those are not OE 185/70's the pressure guidelines in the owners manual might not apply so you might defer to the tire mfgs. guidelines, however that being said pressure guidelines are usually associated with the particular car.

The owners manual of my 69 says to run around 4 more lbs in the rear than in the front, so I typically set them at 28 front and 32 rear. Start there and adjust according to ride quality. You may choose to add more to the front if the car pushes through corners. Test test test

my 70MY manual says 26 front and 29 rear. I run close to that with my OE 185/70's. 26 keeps the front end from feeling so "light" when you are doing 100+ mph.

PSI is PSI, regardless of tire size. Start with the factory-recommended pressure and adjust for your taste. The factory also recommends 29/26 for my '71.

For my '73 with 205/60-15 (or 205/55-15) tires, I use 29 front and 34 rear with good results.
