Arrgh, where's this turn signal switch ground go?

    Hi,

I've been working on adjusting the contacts on my turn signal/high beam switch on my 73. Now that I'm ready to button it back up, I have a stray ground that doesn't seem to have a home. It is from the turn signal stalk and has a female spade connection. The other two grounds have found their places on the horn ring and the bottom cover mounting screw. But this one is baffling me. Anyone know where it goes? It seems just long enough to make it behind the dash if required. FYI the horn ring is working.

Does this thing go to the wheel somewhere, or does it mount on the steering column? I'm stumped...

I don't think it connects to anything. I have the same wire in the column on my 73. Hopefully one of the experts will chime in on this. But for now don't worry about it

I love it! I always hate it when I do something to the car and finish the job with extra parts or wires that aren't connected. This is the first time that's actually been the way it was supposed to be!
