Thread: Anyone seen this before?

    Anyone seen this before?

I found these holes in the steel behind the left side headlight. Why is there holes drilled, cooling to the oil cooler? Strange because then it must have run without its headlight and been used for racing. I know its not original. I have to find some way to repair it.

Would prefere welding but will maybe be a mess then, and I dont like fiberglass.....

    I'd leave them.

Yes the holes were drilled to provide additional airflow to the oil cooler when running without a headlight.

I would feel sorry for you, but I see a genuine S cooler back there, so I am actually jealous!

Seriously, the replacement headlight buckets from Stoddard are the way to go.

Nice to see the Albert blue in there!
