    Source for rubber hold down (GHE) ??

    Hi,
    Does someone know where I can find original or replica of the RSR hold down straps (dogbones) ; the small and the large one??

    Actually they sell those in allot of places, some of which you might not expect. I know Pegasus Racing has them for sure.

    They're a popular aftermarket item for the original Minis, I think. They're pretty cheap.

    GT Racing - Hood latches

    GT Racing has them. I just bought a set for my '72 "RSR" project. Phone order was very fast.

    Rubber with stainless steel hardware, 2.3 inch length.
    Use on the rear deck/engine lid.

    The McMCaster Carr Catalog has a variety of these available. They are listed as "Rubber T-Handle Draw Latches" on page 2913 of the current on-line catalog (www.mcmaster.com)
