Thats the way they used to look when all you had to do was show proof of ownership and they were free. Golden Green????......sounds like an interesting color..........anybody have a pic of one?

Outbid by $500. Should have went to 10k. That is two today. The local T sold for 17k and this one.
Still have to get the targa, the owner is on his honeymoon. He emailed and was worried I would not follow through because I was buying other cars too. Told him they are like potato chips--can't have just one.
Now that I look at them, I think my lotus is closer to zambezi green than golden green. I could not find a color chart listing zambezi, was it a one off?
This one is not mine, but it is the color. It is more gold in person.

BTW here is a description of the 1968 911 sporto from someone who looked at it when the owner died originally

Judging from the last post, the referenced link indicated the stepson was very interested last year. There must have been a deal breaker to keep him from buying. Also if he did buy it, it didn't take him long to put it on eBay with a no or low reserve.

1972 911T
Original
-117 Light Yellow -15x6 Fuchs (9120/M400) -S Appearance (M470) -5 Speed Transmission (9590)
Options added
-Houndstooth Sport Seats (M409) -Rear sway bar (9228)
-H4's -BTB Fog Lts (M429) -Amber TTG Driving Lts (9420/M432)
-380mm Steering Wheel -Becker Mexico -Roof Mounted Luggage/Ski Rack (9503)
-A/C (M559) -Rear Fog Lt (M571) -Rear Wiper (9290) -Wheel Trim (M426) -Footrest (9563)
The seats are worth $5k alone. $4500 for a running SWB in a rare color seems like a legitimately good deal even if it has a deal breaker. Especially if the motor was indeed rebuilt.
