I'll take some more photos over the weekend and post them. In the meantime, here's another one from the archives.

Mike,
Can you tell us a little more about that extrememly interesting front bumper.
Was it a Werks dvelopment part, because it looks very similar to one of the permutations the factory used on the RS prototypes when those were being finalized & tested.
Did it stay with the car as a spare part when you recently purchased it, per chance.

" slavish adherence to originality wasn't for me, because the car wasn't as good as it could be."
Rob Dickinson's response when asked what motivated him to build Singers
John,
I'm afraid that I cannot tell you much at all. It seems to have been fitted near the end of the car's competitive life in 1972 & 1973 judging by the photos I have. When the car was acquired in the late '90s it had been stored in a barn for many years and needed restoration. I am not sure whether it was removed at this point or whether it had already been taken off. Will try to find some photos of the car pre restoration to check.
These are the only other photos I have of the car with it fitted.
Cheers, Mike
There's an article in the UK magazine Classic Cars this month regarding a 911 T sports purpose, VIN number 11820835. The car is Ivory with Fuchs wheels. It was owned by a Barry Williams in California although he has apparently just passed away. He had the car for 25 years restoring it. Does anybody know anything about this car?
Cheers, Mike

Sadly, Barry passed away in July. Here are a couple of pictures of his amazing T that I took a few years ago.

It is a lovely looking car with a very interesting history judging from the magazine article. It's a shame he is no longer here to tell us more about it.
Thanks for sharing the photos.
