    Transmission 911 01

    serial # 7102333 I know it is an E or S. Can someone narrow it down year,E or S, ratios!...Also need to know approximate value as it will be for sale soon , here first........Cliff

    911 01

    # 7102333 is correct. It is type 911 01..According to The Porsche Book it is an E/S 5 speed as denoted by the 911 01 designation. Just do not know which? Cliff
    911/01 ( 5 ) 7:31 A GA O V ZA which mean little to me, other than the 911/01, 5, &7:31

    It could have gone into either a T ,E or an S.
    You are correct, I looked up a more official source to check, and it is a 1970 5 speed.

    Definitely a 1970 tranny

    Ratios are:

    1st = 11:34
    2nd = 18:32
    3rd = 23:28
    4th = 27:25
    5th = 29:22
    R&P = 7:31
