Thread: New seat recommendation

    New seat recommendation

I currently have the Recaro Profi XL seats as shown. I find them comfortable but was thinking about getting a more early-mid '70's period look. Doesn't have to be historically accurate, just "look right". I did look through the seat thread but I have a few parameters to consider.

I have the wide Schroth harnesses, so appropriate belt guides.
I have a half cage so I really need a high back to avoid noggin scrambling.
Need to be all-day comfy. Probably not as issue as I find my current ones comfy.
    Reasonably lightweight = good.

    Thanks,
    --Pete

I have a pair of 74-80 factory sport seats in excellent original condition for sale. They are black vinyl with red piping, with no tears, rubs, worn bolsters, etc. I will sell them for $1100 shipped to you.

Thanks for the suggestions. I was looking through the "Show your ride" thread and came across RODI's excellent looking seats. Amazing how a bit of Houndstooth can change the look. Now I"m off to find a good local upholstery shop. Hope RODI doesn't mind a bit of blatant plagiarism.

    mid 70's look

    Hi All,
Can we recommend our Lolllipop seats, especially the endurance version is more comfy with the duralastic belts and we can make them in the configuration you like....
