    "Classic Porsche" Quarterly

Picked up Issue #3, Autumn 2010, of Keith Seume's Classic Porsche quarterly magazine today, as published by 911 & Porsche World.

I casually looked at No.1 but did not buy, almost bought No. 2 but ultimately didn't because to me it simply did not contain enough material about what I would call "Classic" Porsches, which I will always consider to be only the '64 to '73 models, but No. 3 hits the Bullseye. Lots of Longhood coverage, varied articles, and it even mentions & shows Chuck Miller's blue machine in all its glory at the Dana Point Concours.

    Good reading. Thanks, Keith.

It's been a long time since I've read a Porsche mag cover to cover but this one is just perfect. Nice job Keith. You deserve all the fine Porsche's that will be coming to your mag.

I've looked for this mag at both Borders and Barnes and Noble. No luck. Where are you all finding yours?

    Raj,

If I recall correctly an issue of Excellence earlier this year (June? July?) featured a comparison of three 2.2-litre coupes, a T, an E and an S. All the cars were silver and on display in a California showroom the name of which escapes me at the moment. Anyone?

I found mine at Barnes and Noble in Alaska last week when I was there on business.

    Hi all,

First of all, many thanks for the kind words, and glad people seem to like the magazine. It's been long-needed! It's early days yet, but already the classic Porsche industry in Europe (and much of the USA) has already give it the thumbs up. Just heard to day that Porsche AG is now to be advertising, too – not bad for such a new title.

As regards to where you can buy it in the USA, if you follow this link US DEALERS, it takes you to a list of all the official outlets in the USA. Remember, you can also subscribe on-line, too.

I get mine at Borders and Barnes and Noble as well. The take a little longer to get them in, but they eventually show up. I was chompingat the bit for #2 in June, and it took until late July to finally show up.
