    Tom,

Are we ever going to see you go all 'Waldegaard' in the hot rod?

Gib and Raj: Thanks for all the great pics and analysis; it is all very much appreciated.

Curtisaa: Wish I could get the car out to RG XI...

Rick is correct: it makes the car no faster...but as you can see below, we took Flieger's recommendation and fixed a lightweight hood badge on the front lid. In terms of adding visual interest to the front end, this simple adornment punches well above its weight class.

I don't actually think its use is correct for a 2,3L ST but cosmetically it does look pretty nice.

And, as Brad points out, Manuel Campuzano has indeed produced a superb rendition of the factory's lightweight hood badge and in fact Manuel was kind enough to send a couple our way. Thanks Manuel!

At the same time, one of our fellow board members, who would prefer to remain anonymous, being of a modest and retiring disposition, dug into his fabled treasure chest and contributed an original lightweight badge to the project, fantastische! But to hell with anonymity, thanks Cornpanzer!

Carl, I am leaving it to the young guys like Chad to go all Waaldegard and get the opposite ends of an ST going in two different directions. You shouldn't be putting those ideas into my head, not at my age...

Say, I wonder if the badge shown in these images is one of Manuel's brilliant repros or the factory original from Dave?

I just love the look of a refection coming off a real factory hood! So cool!
