Interesting heat exchangers. Maybe 'of local manufacture'?

I think those might be an old aftermarket set of 'Triads'

Man, nothing looks better on a '67 than 4.5" Fuchs.
Seemed to go pretty cheap? Is the market that flat in the US at the minute or was this known to have issues? Looks pretty solid with mainly correct original parts? Surely an ideal long term resto project?
I think it's the 3rd or 4th try on ebay, non number matching from my guess at 67S numbers off the top of my head (I'm traveling but given my own 67S numbers that I can recall...). Needs everything... engine smokes (would you really just stop at doing rings and a valve job??), syncros on gearbox, then the body issues. Seller is a member here, I'm sure if he thought he could get more here he would have offered it here. Certainly labor rates in shops that I know haven't gone down...

If you do the math...to bring this one back...it would be hard not to have at least $40k invested...assuming it needs most everything which is probably does.
Actually he did offer it here, and nobody bit at $28K last year.....

Notice from the COA that the engine is not matching, but is the correct type apparently.
Also not original color.

Yep, that was mine. A buyer in Germany got a bargain (again). It's a very nice, dry car that presents well. I started to invest some $$ in it to make it a driver, but I'm already involved in a 356 sunroof coupe project, so there goes another...
